Internships & externships

Well-established rotating internship program

Our rotating internships fulfill all prerequisites for specialty internships and residency programs. Participants will have well-rounded training with 50% time on primary case care in emergency and 50% time across 8 specialties, at the largest emergency and specialty hospital in the San Francisco Bay Area.

2-4 week externships for emergency and 8 specialties

Single service and rotating externships are offered for case-based learning opportunities with a matched clinician mentor. Preference is given to veterinary students who will have completed their third year of instruction prior to starting the externship and are accepted on a rolling basis.
