Dr. Krupa Swaminathan was born and raised in Massachusetts and earned his bachelor’s in mathematics from the University of Illinois. He then went on to earn his doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of California, Davis, thus completing his slow, westward migration. After graduation, Krupa spent 1.5 years in mixed animal practice, but soon realized his interest was in emergency medicine and is excited to join the team here at PESCM. His other specialty interests include ophthalmology, and surgery.
Outside of work, Krupa enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and his dog, Archie. He enjoys snowboarding, and photography. He is a huge Boston sports fan and loves spending his Sunday afternoons yelling at the TV while watching his beloved New England Patriots.
