As a teaching facility, the Pet Emergency and Specialty Center of Marin offers veterinary student externships and ER mentorship opportunities for veterinary students and veterinarians wishing to advance their training.
PESCM offers 2-4 week externships in the specialties of Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Emergency Services, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology and Surgery. Rotating externships are also possible. Preference is given to veterinary students who will have completed their third year of instruction prior to starting the externship and are accepted on a rolling basis.
