That's why our Community Pet Blood Bank plays such an important role in caring for pets throughout the North Bay. As the region's only 24-hour veterinary community blood bank, we help ensure blood products are available when patients need them most.
Maintaining a community blood bank requires more than collecting donations. It takes careful planning, rigorous medical standards and a team committed to ensuring blood products are available. From screening donor pets to collecting, processing and storing blood, every step is designed to support the safety of both donors and recipients.
