Dr. Kelley Zimmerman is a graduate of the Royal Veterinary College. Upon graduation, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotation at the Louisiana State University, followed by a medical oncology specialty internship at Seattle Veterinary Specialists. She then completed a three-year residency in Medical Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania and achieved board certification in medical oncology within the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology).
Whilst she finds all aspects of practicing oncology rewarding, she has a particular interest in cancers of the immune system (lymphoma, histiocytic sarcoma, mast cell tumors) and maximizing her patient’s quality of life.
Kelley and her fiancé (both native Californians and both specialty veterinarians!) live with their flat coated retriever, Rowdy. They are pleased to be back home, providing care to their community.
Outside of the hospital, Kelley enjoys spending time with her family, reading, learning languages, watching wildlife, and traveling.
