Dr. Ashton Story originally grew up in southeast Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as Health Sciences at the University of Central Florida prior to obtaining her veterinary degree at the University of Florida. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at the Ohio State University, a surgical oncology internship at Texas A&M University and a four year surgical residency and master’s degree from the University of Missouri. In the final year of her residency, she obtained board certification as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (Small Animal). She stayed on at the University of Missouri for an additional year following residency as a clinical instructor for the small animal orthopedic service prior to joining the PESCM team.
Dr. Story performs general soft tissue procedures, surgical oncology as well as orthopedic surgery. Through residency, she developed a particular fondness for orthopedic surgical cases, and is excited to bring this passion to the patients of Marin County. In her free time, she enjoys running and cooking.
